Burna Boy and Wizkid remove their album promotion posts in support of their friend Davido, who recently lost his son Ifeanyi to death.
Wizkid and Burna Boy, two Grammy Award-winning Afrobeat legends, erased tweets promoting their new albums to show support for the loss of Ifeanyi Adeleke, a colleague’s son.
On October 31st, the news that Davido’s only son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, had drowned to death in his father’s swimming pool caused the internet to go into sorrow.

While the incident was having a significant impact, Wizkid, who was unaware of the tragedy, announced the release date of his upcoming album on Twitter.
After realizing that Davido had lost his son to drowning, he received a barrage of abuse from his supporters, forcing him to delete the tweet.
This had an effect on Burna Boy’s career as well, who erroneously used his Instagram account to advertise his record. After learning that Davido’s kid had succumbed to the urge, he hastily erased the message.
