Breaking News: Nollywood legend Funke Akindele’s Mother has passed away

Funke Akindele, a prominent figure in Nigeria, has added to the dead toll when her mother gave in to nature’s compulsions.

The lady known as Adebanjo Akindele passed suddenly on Tuesday following a brief illness, according to the Nollywood elder sister, who unfortunately broke the news.

Her claim is as follows:

“It is with heavy hearts, but in total submission to God Almighty that the Adebanjo And Akindele families announce the passing of their daughter, mother, grandmother and sister, DR. R B ADEBANJO-Akindele, which occurred on Tuesday 07 February 2023.”

“May her gentle soul begin its rest eternal in peace. Amen. Obsequies in honour of her passing shall be announced in due course”.

According to a number of reports, Funke Akindele was so deeply affected by the terrible news that she has so far chosen to remain silent on all social media sites.
