Share All sharing options for: At the 2022 AFRIMA Awards, Asake wins in two categories.
YBNL Gem Asake, who won the eight edition of the AFRIMA award in both of the main categories for which he was nominated, completely stole the show.
The first honor he won yesterday night was for “Artist of the Year,” which has been hailed as a just reward by many sources, including Nigerians.
The second prize he won last night at the illustrious ceremony was for “Breakout Artist of the Year,” which he achieved with his several hit songs.
He was seen climbing the stage to get his plaques in a viral video with much enthusiasm.
Asake became well-known after releasing a number of singles that were top performers on all major music charts, followed by a debut album that quickly set record-breaking sales.
