Person who skips school wants to open class. Burna Boy responds to Wizkid’s criticism and spars with Davido.

Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning phenomenon, has joined the conversation about Wizkid’s nasty, pretentious remark via snap chat.

Wizkid recently boasted in public via snap chat that even once he quits, none of his contemporaries, including artists like Burna Boy and Davido, would be as successful and wealthy as he is.

He also gave them the assurance that he would host a professional seminar where his colleague may go and gain some important information.

This gained so much traction that Burna Boy lost his cool. He commented on the saga on his snap chat account.

He claimed that although Wizkid is undoubtedly the finest in the business, that does not change the fact that he is far superior to Davido, whom he referred to as his uncle.

He said, in his own words:

“Lmao, Normally Wizkid na every Naija artistes popsy for sure but I be uncle to Davido for this music thing!!! Yes, I said it!!!”

Davido responded to him with well-written, scathing lines without hesitation, as was to be anticipated. He called him “mediocre” and pledged that he will sign an enslaving contract with the Atlantic Record company to match his and Wizkid’s caliber.

He stated:

“Nigga till you stop making music I’m gonna be bigger than you, I ain’t the one that signed a slave deal with your record label because you wanna chase numbers and be bigger than Wizkid and myself.  You still ain’t seeing our backs!!!”

Rumors spread that Burna Boy’s supposed response was altered by an unidentified Wizkid fanatic who worked hard to get Nigerians to believe that Burna Boy made such a statement.

This was sparked by Burna Boy’s late snap chat tweet, in which he called Wizkid an illiterate.
