The case of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), has been discharged and dismissed by the Nigerian High Court.
Several sources claim that he was exonerated after filing a motion to throw out federal authorities’ terrorism allegations against him.
Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the principal attorney for the freedom warrior, announced the verdict on his official Twitter account on Thursday.
In his own words he said;
“Appeal allowed, MNk discharged and acquitted.”
“Appeal allowed , Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi KANU, discharged and acquitted. We have won! Victory victory victory victory.”
Kanu was violently detained and tried in the Nigerian high court after being accused of innumerable alleged terrorist offenses.
He entered a not guilty plea and pleaded for his release from all charges, which almost certainly led to a favorable result.
